if he is 100% chinese or taiwanese or korean..i will not like him,,for me he is japanese, his name, his face, his deeply voice, his facial hair, typical japanese..,dont care about other blood in him, when you hear his name, you'll assume he is japanese, i also like Yutaka Takenouchi.
His voice is the same but since he is speaking Japanese it sounds a little different. But you can definitely recognize his voice when he pauses and it sounds very similar to when he plays his role in movies

Multicultural people are a great thing, language is a real burden for acting collaboration within Asia. I feel Korean actors when acting in Chinese productions ,too often seem like they are milking their celebrity more than anything else. With him , his background being broader, his opportunity to shine is also broader.
He didn't spend most of the time in japan,but successfully learning the language same with his other local talking skills,must be gave a lot of effort seriously on homework
