真田さん、ノミネートおめでとうございます！カツラ金属音「コン、コン、コン、コ～ン！」だけカットした！のところで外出先なのに思わず吹き出して笑ってしまいました！他の日本人ハリウッド俳優とは比較にならないほどの、真田さんの仕事に対する本物であることのこだわりと真摯な姿勢、穏やかで控えめな人柄の現れるエピソードトーク。彼のエレガントな英語の語り方に観客も司会者も魅了されていることがよく分かりますね。
真田広之さんがインタビュー受けているところを初めてみたが、こんなにお茶目で、言い方は悪いかもしれないが、留学に来ている若い日本人みたいなキャラクターだったとは想像したこともなかった。
彼が映画の中で演じる役はみな、厳格な面持ちで、言葉も重く、古風な侍が多いから。
彼は素晴らしい俳優、日本の誇り。
ぜひエミー賞を獲ってほしい。

Why would a show set in Japan be in any other language than Japanese? Clearly FX realise that we're living in 2024 and inclusivity and realism is the only way to go. No more The Last Samurai whitewashing bs please!!

I grew up overseas and can confirm Tokugawa Ieyasu is one of the few I know, so very famous.
Shogun's cast was very much spot on. no single bad cast.. and those japanese masters.. oh boyyy. what a great show
