I do not decorate for Halloween so DT can do as they please, I am not buying. I will be watching on what they will be doing for Christmas items. If they are just digging old items from years prior years and marking up, I will pull out what I already have.
I really like to know with Amazan ..because I have found on quite a few times things I found things much cheaper .so my take with Amazon is I Desperately would need something before I order with them.
Thanks Lisa! I don’t think dollar tree is worth it anymore. I’m sorry to say I think a lot of the stuff is just junk . Even when stuff was 1.25 I was cautious on what I bought. The $1.25’s add up!
Hey Lisa. Thanks for the video. Unfortunately my DT days are going to be really limited. I bought a pair of magnetic lights that were $5 that were suppose to work like a motion censor. I open the package , install the batteries and place the lights where I’m needing them. They would not work as stated in the instructions. Soooo, I’ve removed my batteries, put them back in the package and will be returning them. So tired of DT drama. I have already been searching out items I’ve purchased in the past somewhere else at a much better value. It really is sad. 🩷
I quit dollar tree months ago. It’s all plastic crap from China or cheap makeup that irritates me, the prices are all over place,& it’s just not fun anymore. The thrill is gone,baby .
I agree…disappointing on alot of stuff! Thank u for the reviews. I did think the 3 tier stack pumpkins was worth the 1.50.. I unfortunately bought those candles. Most stuff I bought halloween from dollar general for A DOLLaR.
I am so sad about Dollar Tree. The excitement is just gone. Back in the days of $1 I was in DT 3-4 times a week. When they jumped to $1.25, maybe once a week. Now at $1.50-$2 for the same product we bought for $1 for years, I’m no longer interested 😢
Yes exactly Lisa I was so excited to finally get the LED flame lights and the multicolored ones because they were new this year and I had bought 6 of them. 4 of the LED flame ones and 2 of the multicolor ones well when I brought them home and started opening them and putting them together, I was so disappointed! Not only did it take time to get the blasted batteries in because it was so hard to put them in the LED flame lights did not even work! Mine weren’t even flames they were actually white strobe lights just plain white and the multicolor ones were the same just a white strobe light. So I’m like OK. I’m not even gonna waste my time opening the others! 👎 very deceiving & misleading, false advertisement! And I’m so thankful that I have such a nice manager at this one particular dollar tree that I go to, and so understanding he was even disappointed! And he knows I go in there a lot and do my TikTok videos and take tons of pictures and videos for my YouTube channel and my TikTok channel and he’s grateful that I do that to advertise the product. And I was honest with them. I’m like I can’t advertise this because they don’t work the way they say. lol, he was so understanding! 😊
We have to remember that most of the items in DT (not food) are throwaways, cheap plastic items. You get what you pay for. Most items like plastic or cardboard decorations last a season. If you really want something to last you are probably shopping in the wrong stores. I mean $1.50 is cheap. Not sure what expectations are 🤷🏼♀️
Could be that you got a defective orange light and others may flicker better. However, that just proves your point that there's a strong risk of DT items being faulty! 🧡
Nope, the bleeding candle is not blood red enough for me.😢 Dollar Tree is going to go out of business if they keep raising prices on junk. I will go to look at whats new but have to say its becoming more looking and way less buying. I'll still watch your hauls tho.😊
Thanks for testing the items for us. 👍🏻 I definitely think that with the price increases that the dollar tree needs to change their policy from exchange only to cash back within 30 days of purchase with a receipt. 🧾

Bleeding candle and puck light are a total waste of money. White taper ok when it works and actually loved the laterns.
