　俳優の内野聖陽さんが12月5日、東京都内で行われた日本とトルコの合作映画「海難1890」（田中光敏監督）の初日舞台あいさつに登場。主演の内野さんは「撮影は12～1月の非常に寒い時期だった」と振り返り、「やっとここに立てたかという気持ちでいっぱい」と感慨深げに語り、「田中監督の超力作映画に参加できて本当に光栄。この作品が次の世代の方々に残っていき、日本とトルコの友好がこんな事件から始まってたんだと、多くの人に見ていただければと思う」と呼びかけた。

　「海難1890」は、1890年に和歌山県串本町沖でオスマン帝国の軍艦「エルトゥールル号」が座礁・大破し、乗員が日本人に救助された海難事故と、その95年後にイラン・イラク戦争でテヘランに取り残された日本人をトルコ人が救出した事件が題材で、時代を超えた両国の絆や真心を描く感動作。

　舞台あいさつには忽那汐里さん、ケナン・エジェさん、夏川結衣さん、田中監督が出席した。

Actor Seiyo Uchino attended the stage-greetings event on the first screening day of Japan – Turkey coordinated movie “Kainan 1890 (125 YEARS MEMORY)” (directed by Mitsutoshi Tanaka) held in Tokyo on December 5th.

Main actor Uchino recalled: “The filming was carried out in a very cold period (from December to January)”, expressed his emotion: “Finally, I can stand here”; and appealed everyone: “I feel a great honor when being able to participate in a great movie of director Tanaka. I hope that this work will remain in many later generations and everyone will know about the good relationship between Japan and Turkey starting from the event in the movie.”
