It does look cool and I'm certain it's going to be more true to it's source than anything the west has done in the past 30 years. But because Maito didn't have the same life experiences that his father had, it's still gonna be lacking. I can even see it here. It's still gonna be fun though.
In Shin Kamen Rider (Reboot Movie) Takeshi also uses the wind to transform but he transformed his real body into some sort of Grasshopper monster under the suit, the suit and belt have to be worn manually and could be taken out at anytime when he's human.
I’m probably gonna get hate for this, but I would love to see a recreation of Kamen Rider now that the tech is more advanced. I’m talking shot for shot. But more modern. Not too many crazy cgi scenes, just recreate the scenes that need it. Let’s be honest. The original is dated, as it should, but if they are going to do this, why not go the full mile.

Picture this: Hiroshi and Matio did henshin and become Ichigo together. Now that’s like father like son thing.
That effect when he transformed was sick, it still retained that classic feel but with modern technology.
