　俳優の瀬戸康史さんが9月15日、東京・上野の寛永寺で主演映画「合葬」（小林達夫監督、26日公開）のヒット祈願イベントを行った。瀬戸さんは、同作が出品された「第39回モントリオール世界映画祭」に着物姿で出席し、フランス語でスピーチをした瀬戸さんは「見終わってロビーに出たら、いろいろな人に声をかけられて、『よかった』と直接お客さんの声が聞けてうれしかったです」と振り返った。

　ヒット祈願には、瀬戸さんダブル主演を務める柳楽優弥さんと岡山天音さん、門脇麦さん、小林監督も出席した。

　「合葬」は、1982～83年にマンガ誌「ガロ」に連載され、日本漫画家協会賞優秀賞を受賞した杉浦日向子さんのマンガが原作。幕末、将軍の警護のため結成された彰義隊を舞台に、時代に翻弄（ほんろう）される若者たちの青春を描いている。

Actor Koji Seto attended the prayer event for the movie “Gassoh” (directed by Tatsuo Kobayashi, to be premiered on the 26th) in which he plays the main character to become a big hit at Kan’ei-ji in Ueno, Tokyo on September 15th. Seto appeared in a Kimono at “the 39th Montreal World Film Festival” where this movie was screened, and delivered a speech in French, he recalled: “After watching the movie and going to the lobby, I was asked by many people and felt very happy when hearing guest’s saying “It was really good”.
