So, I heard that a few fans didn't really like Kuroshitsuji Live Action. Thinking it must be bad, I didn't give it a try until now – and I found out that I quite enjoyed it. Personally, I felt that Hiro Mizushima's portrayal of Sebastian was excellent. I have not seen Yuya Matsushita in the capacity as Sebastian yet so I can't compare, but Mizushima's acting won me over. (When one finds herself not relating to other roles that Mizushima has played in and going "Hey, this character is familiar to…."; instead, absorbing all the little details of Sebastian, you know the actor has pulled off a success.) I also believe that they have made a good decision to bring in Shiori Genpo (although I would prefer a better surname). Now, don't get me wrong. I was dying to see Ciel. Old London. Etc. But perhaps that would be a lot of work and it might turn out into a complex film which the general audience (excluding Kuroshitsuji fans) might get lost in. +they did mention they cannot bring in Japanese actors if they had set the show in old London. :/ Perhaps I wasn't expecting too much and therefore, I was more pleased than disappointed. There were quite a few loopholes (like Why is Shiori still wearing old London clothes in 2020 Asia??!) and mind you, I absolutely dislike plotholes (I make it a point to nitpick all the loopholes in every film I watch) but in essence, all of it is made to give the Kuroshitsuji feel for fans to enjoy no matter the time frame. Overall, the action scenes were good. The soundtrack special. Light plot. It makes for one hell of an entertaining movie. 🙂

観る前はストーリー全然違うし、シエル女の子ってどういうことって思ったけど、観てみたら山本美月さんのメイリンのアクションすっごいかっこよかったし、セバスチャンの悪魔な部分すごい濃くておもしろかったし、剛力彩芽さんのロング見れたし、おもしろかった。
この曲は実写映画黒執事にあってる曲。雰囲気が出ていてとてもいいと思う。すごく好きです。
