Japans greatest tennis player, Kei Nishikori 🇯🇵 hitting a few tennis balls at court level in 4K 60FPS! Here we see him warming up some groundstrokes, slow motion rallies, working on his serves & returns, doing some basket fed drills and more…

I’m a huge fan of Nishikori’s return game!
Kei Nishikori’s return game has always been one of his greatest strengths, setting him apart as one of the best returners of his generation. He is so sharp, has the ability to take the ball early, redirect pace, and turn defense into offense making him a nightmare for big servers.

Watching it up close was a pleasure—what stood out to me was how he consistently gets his body weight behind the return, allowing him to turn defense into offense. His crafty hand skills guide the ball with precision, effectively transforming his return into an attack.

He also has boxer-like movement when he is not hitting. Always light on his feet and ready to make an explosive dash or make little adjustment steps.

  2. He has very underrated footwork and ROS. I remember Grigor Dimitrov stating that Nishikori would be his perfect choice for the backhand when building a perfect tennis player

  3. Wow, dude looks like he's 18. Amazing to see that adjusting technique and form is an ongoing process for many of these "older" players still.
    Amazing footage as usual.
    Thank you COURT LEVEL TENNIS.

  4. 錦織選手の素晴らしい動画。子供の会話としては妥当なんだろうが、日本語で話す女の子の口が悪くて残念だ。

  5. Love Nishikori! Watched him play in Hong Kong in January. He's still got it after his comeback from injury.

Question: Liam, how are you able to get these nice court level angle videos? Are you working with the tournaments or specific tennis brands?

  6. Looking at Mr. Nishikori from front reminds me of hin as 18 years old and it made me cry with a pleasure to see him back again. I wish his ongoing career with pure joy to play and live with his own tennis. I appreciated this upload of the video.

  7. Incredibly compact, efficient groundstrokes and great balance and movement. No surprise he's still playing at a high level.
