Meanwhile, Himokura takes notice of Nogiri’s “routine.” After noticing something, Himokura takes Takaya with him to observe Nogiri’s high-altitude training in order to investigate further… When the truth seems to be revealed…🍑is the key? Great!

正式に内閣官房サイエンス・メディカル対策室のアドバイザーとなった紐倉（山下智久）は、助手の高家（濱田岳）を連れて内閣府にあるSM対策室を訪れる。牧野（菜々緒）は対策室のメンバーに、紐倉と高家を紹介。網野（光石研）は早速、紐倉に相談を持ちかける。

国民栄誉賞の授与が検討されている日本陸上界のエース・野桐（清原翔）のドーピング疑惑について調べてほしいというのだ。最初は拒否した紐倉だったが、高家の必死過ぎる頼みによって渋々受けることに。

紐倉と高家、そして牧野は、ドーピング疑惑の真相を探るため、練習中の野桐に会いに行く。陸上界の異端児と言われるだけあって、レース前後に野獣のような雄叫びをあげたり、謎のダンスを踊り出すなど、謎めいた行動が多い野桐。変人な上に傲慢な性格で、紐倉にも執拗に突っかかる。

そんな中、紐倉は野桐の”ルーティン”に目を付ける。そこからあることに気付いた紐倉は、さらに詳しく調べるため、野桐の高地トレーニングを観察するために高家を連れ出すが…。
